F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions)
Q.
Why are there advertisements all over LameCards.com?
A.
Although it is totally free to send e-cards to people via LameCards.com,
hosting a website costs money. I pay a monthly fee to have this
site on the web. The advertisements help me pay this fee.
Additionally, I am a self-supporting college student, so every dime I
can earn helps me pay for things like rent, food, gas, books and so on.
You don't have to click on the ads. However, I
would be very thankful if you checked some of them out. It costs
you nothing to look and if you find something you like and decide to buy or take part in an offer (some are free)
it costs nothing extra either. I get a small percentage from every sale
generated from clicking through ads on my site. In other words,
it's a good deal for all. You buy something you want at a fair
price from my sponsors, and I get a few bucks from my sponsor for
sending you there.
Q. I
sent an e-card to someone and they said they never received it.
What's up?
A.
While most e-card notifications get through, tell them to check their
junk mail folder. Some e-mail clients have gotten out of control
with their filtering and may have designated the e-card notification
message as junk simply because it contains a link (URL). So, ask
them to check and see if it is there. Although I don't support or
like spam either, unfortunately some e-mail clients use triggers to
designate mail as junk such as the word "click here" and the addition of
links in e-mail.
Q. If I
send a card from LameCards.com will my e-mail address or that of the
person I send a card to get tossed into a thousand spam lists?
A.
Absolutely not. I will not and do not sell or use the e-mail
addresses sent through LameCards.com for unsolicited mail. The
only mail anyone gets from LameCards.com is the notification to the
recipient that they have a card, and if selected, the notification to
the sender that the card sent has been viewed by the recipient.

Please note, if you do sign up for our news letter, you will receive
e-mails every now and then from me with updates about LameCards.com.
Of course the news letter is a separate thing and you will know if you
sign up because you must confirm that you wish to receive the news
letter.
Q.
Where do you come up with such strange ideas for these e-cards?
A.
I was born cynical and a bit strange. It's a gift really.
Sort of like my awesome ability to run with scissors while playing with
matches in traffic.
Q. I
looked at your about me
page. You seem super hot and down right awesome. Are you
single?
A.
It's your lucky day! I am indeed single and very much willing to
meet some totally awesome yet delightfully lame woman to send lame
e-cards to every day. Hell, I might even send flowers if said
woman plays her cards right. Keep in mind though, I get hit on by
women constantly. They are from Canada though so you would not
know them. None the less, the market is hot. So, get in
while you can by contacting me via the contact me link. |
